Western Albemarle Rescue Squad is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization serving Albemarle County west of Charlottesville. There are three ALS ambulances, one squad truck, one water rescue vehicle & raft, three zone cars and Gator 5, a 4x6 ATV. Click apparatus to find out more about our means of treatment, transport, water rescue and extrication. WARS officers for various committees, as well as Community members, can be found in the Administration section on the website. We are thankful for continued support of our local community.
